Nike Air Zoom Tempo Next% FlyEase Review

Nike Air Zoom Tempo Next% FlyEase

Today I’m taking a look at the Nike Air Zoom Tempo Next% FlyEase and of course I took them for a spin to see how they perform.

First look at the shoes, they look kinda big, the style is beautiful though, so they are big and beautiful shoes.

The shoe has ZoomX Foam for nice cushioned energy return and a Zoom Air unit for some extra spring in your step.

The Step in system is specially made for people like me, who are too lazy to tie their shoes, you simply just step in to the shoes and with one hand you can pull on the strap to tighten it and pull on another strap to loosen it again. Getting out of the shoes is just as easy and with a little help of stepping on the heal part you can easily just kick off the shoes.

The sole of the shoe looks like it would give you some great traction and looks pretty durable.

The whole style of the shoe looks like it’s made to be a fast shoe, even though it’s such a big shoe, the style makes it look fast.

The shoe has a 10mm heel drop and weighs 338 grams in a size 11 and differs about 15% in weight with the regular Tempo Next%, which is the price you pay for being able to just easily slip into your shoes.

Running in the shoes felt a little double. I like some bounce in my shoes and the cushioning is amazing. All this cushioning though puts a lot of extra material on the shoe, combine this with the FlyEase system of the shoe and you have a very big shoe. It kind of felt like running in platform shoes. So even though the cushioning is great, the feeling of having shoes that are too big kind of put me off.

There seems to be some extra room in the shoe, I think it's the FlyEase system that doesn't sit all that tight. There is also a floppy sound when I run which I assume is from the same system, seeing that it's not a sound I've ever heard from my running shoes before.

Although it's a comfortable shoe with an amazing bounce to it, I just can't get over thee size of the shoe, so it's not the shoe for me I'm afraid.
